Before the group would film, it is absolutely vital for us to keep in mind any risks that can occur and how to prevent them. By planning this before hand, and discussing methods to help prevent hazards such as the weather, camera equipment and danger in locations, filming shots will run smoothly and will result in successful clips.
Due to listing risks and then the preventions, we are aware of these aspects and have provided ourselves with more knowledge on how to protect ourselves and filming therefore, filming will run smoother and quicker and the group will worry less about any hazards/issues that may occur and will fundamentally, making our shots look professional and of a higher standard.
I believe that we planned the risk assessment well however, another risk that we faced whilst filming linked to locational hazards. As we were filming in London, we needed to be respectful of members of the public, as well as finding an area that would be low key so that filming would not be disturbed. After finding our location, Victoria Park, we needed to take the thick mud and grass into consideration as these elements could destroy the tripod and camera equipment. To solve this hazard we made sure to film on as much pavement as possible, and made sure to check the weather to overcome this.
This post demonstrates a proficient understanding of what a risk assessment is and the potential risks that could take place while you are filming.
